Microsoft FrontPage 2000
Website Editor

In the pages which follow, you will learn some of the essential skills all proficient web designers need to master.  It doesn´t ultimately matter what web authoring tool you learn to use: they all work on roughly the same principles, and once you have got the hang of one it´s relatively easy to transfer the skills to another.

We have chosen FrontPage for this course, because (despite some weaknesses) it is the authoring tool used by the vast majority of organisations worldwide and it operates on communication principles that are important in the context of this course.

Work through the pages on the left, keeping FrontPage open on your desktop so that you can practise and refer to it as you go along.

Website construction heavily favours the hands-on approach.  You need to get your hands dirty, and swear at your computer a bit. THEN you´ll have arrived!
