Placing graphics on a FrontPage web page is similar to doing so in other Microsoft products, except that positioning the
graphic on the page is less exact than it is in, say, Publisher. You have little control, ultimately, over how big the viewer's screen will be or which browser will be used to view your site, and both
these variables can change the exact position of your image.
You can insert a graphic into a page either by clicking on the "Insert Image" tool on the toolbar:
OR
you can use the
Insert menu.
You can insert either some Clipart or an image you have prepared earlier (as in other Office products).
NB DonŽt worry too much about the other interesting looking things on this menu,
They are dealt with individually later in this course.
FP2000 will open a browse dialogue box, so you can select your graphic. By default, it will suggest you look within the current web for graphics (in case
you want to use a graphic you've already used in the current web site). If you are inserting a brand new picture, however, youŽll need to click on either the
"Folder" browse or "Internet" browse buttons (bottom right hand corner of the dialogue box - see below).

For more information about graphics, browse through the sub-pages.
