This is what you see next. It is FrontPageīs Navigation View screen. This is where you go to get an overview of your site and the files in it.

Notice five things, especially.

  1. The menu bar is very familiar (donīt you agree?). In FP2000, click around and verify this for yourself.  In fact, if you are familiar with MS Office products, you already know your way round this menu bar.
  2. With a few exceptions, the toolbar is also very similar to MS Office toolbars. Remember to hover your mouse pointer over each of the tools so you can read the popup hint which appears if you wish to know what a button does.
  3. Notice the "VIEWS" toolbar down the left margin - Go to FP2000 and click a few of them, just for the hang of it, and to see what they do.
  4. Then there is the main light blue area which holds a "thumbnail" of your web site. Go to FP2000 and click on the `New pageībutton (top left hand corner) and minature pages appear to give you an overall `flow chartī of your site.
  5. Finally, notice the "Folders" panel - more on this in the Site Tree page (see the buttons at the top of this page), which you should go to next!
