The Control Panel contains all those useful little utilities which make customising your computer possible.  You can change configurations, add or remove software, adjust the date or time, fine tune your display to suit your needs and so on.

The graphic above shows only a few of the utilities in the control panel - there are many others.

NB On networks, it is very possible that your System Administrator (for security reasons) may have restricted your access to the control panel.
