If you click on one of the PLUS signs, it will expand that folder, so that you can see what it contains.

Once expanded, the PLUS sign changes to a MINUS sign - a clue that if you click it, the folder will CONTRACT again.

Using the "expand" and "collapse" buttons is much quicker than double- clicking on a folder.
