One of the new views provided by Win98 is the "View as Web page" option.

On the left is a screen shot of the folder "Assets", in which there is a sub-folder called "duplicate1", and a number of "GIF" files (graphics).

The file "fm-filenames.gif" has been selected (with a single-click), and on the left, Win98 has displayed its details, as you can see - along with a "thumbnail" of the image itself.  Quite handy.

If you DOUBLE-click the file, Win98 will automatically run the program which created the file in the first place, and then use that program to display the graphic.  [NB  All files work like this]
